All About Pocket Knives

I am nearly 100% possitive that what I have is a 9 dot cheetah. (1971) I have been under the assumption that there are no 8 dot stag cheetahs. Taking into consideration that I can only see 8 dots on the knife it would lead me to beleive that infact this is a 9 dot. Also, the 10 dots didn't have a patter number on the blade...(right?) You are right on all counts, there are no 8 Dot Cheetah's. However, there is a large and small stamp version of the 9 Dots. You have a large stamp. There's no difference in value.

Thanks knifekid... I am interested in selling this knife and naturally my above questions would make a difference in the value of it.
