Why are my PMs staying in outbox?

A couple of recent one are not showing as sent… they stay on outbox
What am I doing wrong ?

You're not doing anything wrong. The PMs sit in the out box until they are read by the individual you sent them to. Once they are read, they move to Sent Messages.
