All About Pocket Knives

Alyson has been feeling poorly lately and having trouble with her stomach. I took her to the ER a couple weeks ago and they ran a test on her and said that it looked like she had an ulcer. They gave her some medication for ulcers, but it has not gotten better.

On Monday October 17th I had my rotator cuff repaired so I am all trussed up now in a sling and brace gadget and pretty much of out of commission for another week. My stepson John has been very helpful, he and his fiance have been doing lots too help us around the house.

On Tuesday this week Alyson went in to get a CT scan of her stomach. We got the results yesterday. It appears that her breast cancer has metastasized and she now has a spot on her liver that they think is most likely cancerous. They won't know until they do a biopsy. The wheels of medicine are slowly turning, with referrals to the proper doctors and proper tests.
But I believe God works much quicker, without tests and what he does is perfect because perfection is His nature.

Please pray for Alyson that God would bring her complete healing.

Holy Father... Dale and his family need your help and comfort during this difficult time in their lives. Please give Alyson healing for her body. Father, Please make Dale stronger in faith, in health and in confidence. Please give him that comfort and trust we all need to be able to live in a world of pain and persecution. We know that this world hates your people. BUT, You are always there for us in times of trouble. Even during the times when our health fails us.

Please keep Alyson in your prayers, she has a liver biopsy tomorrow morning. We are praying it isn't cancer.

Her stomach is causing her a lot of pain, they think it is an ulcer. We are off to the ER again this morning because the pain is so intense.

Please pray for her healing and that God would receive the glory.

Sorry to read this, Dale, prayers going out. My mother went through something similar from ovarian cancer that metastasized to her liver as well. Praying for your shoulder too.

Alyson got the phone call today whith the results of the biopsy. It is malignant. The breast cancer had apparently metastasized before surgery.
We don't know what all this means yet, we don't know what sort of prognosis there may be, but we meet with the oncologist on friday.

Please continue praying for Alyson and our whole family. There is nothing you can do that would have a greater impact than praying!
