Help with date code on a Buck 110 - please

I have reviewed numerous posts about dating Buck 100s, but none look quite like this one in the 2 photos. Please help.
The tang stamp is 3 lines: BUCK / -110- / U.S.A
Those are dashes on either side of the 110. A single dash like this apparently means 1992. What do 2 mean?

FINALLY I found a mention of a second dash added to the pattern number when a design change occurred during the year. True?
So mine with - 110 - would be 1992 after all, right?

Not sure if I have seen one with that stamp before. According to their website that would probably fall into a 1992, but you never know.
https://www.buckknives.com/about-knives/how-old/ I would contact Buck directly. They have great customer service and will be able to give you the right answer.

You've got it right, it's a 1992. There was a minor change in the blade radius that made the action smoother, and also eliminated a manufacturing step. The 110 blade shape changed considerably over the years. If you compare your blade to an earlier 1992 the difference is very subtle.
