Everyone should own one

That was the first pocket knife I thought about when I saw your title, thought it could also be a Camillus 72 or maybe a Case Trapper.

Far too big and heavy to be an EDC for most people. Unless you are a rancher or farmer and carry it in a pouch on your belt.

I would have to disagree with this video.
I don't think very many people would think of a 110 when asked their idea of a "pocket knife".
I don't believe I've ever seen someone carry a 110 in a pocket. Most are carried in belt sheaths.
More people would probably think of a slipjoint. Stockman, trapper, Barlow etc.

I do believe the Buck 110 is an iconic knife though.

I agree it’s a iconic knife and a must have for collectors , but it’s not a “Pocket Knife “in definition, it’s too bulky and big for a pocket, I carry a puma game warden on camp and it’s in a pouch on my belt , but a must have I agree , I actually prefer the 112 Ranger between the two

I agree - a USA made slipjoint stockman (Case - Schrade - Buck ) that's what I grew up with

Probably a legend but most people would not think of it first
as a legend pocket knife-too large unless you are a rancher
or in heavy construction and then it goes on a belt.

For me personally when I think of a legendary pocket knife I think of a Schrade Old Timer stockman or jack. Growing up there were alot of people, myself included, who carried and used an Old Timer.

I’ve carried a 110 in my pocket several times. But I’m a big boy with big britches, ergo big pockets!

That said I have to have a reason to carry a 110. I have other knives I like better for just about everything. Primarily a 4.45” stockman or a Camillus 72.

A Buck 110 is by far my most carried and used knife. I’ve worn out 2 and had Buck rebuild them. I’ve definitely pocket carried one. In my back pocket with or without its sheath. It never bothered me.

In high school Id carry it in its sheath in my back pocket then put it on my belt when I went to work after school.

A Buck 110 has gone to work with me everyday for almost 40 years.
