All About Pocket Knives

A forum member is interested in this bone handled, short line Scout knife and neither one of us has a clue about what to value it at. Help!!!

My price target would be 110 to 150, in that range.

Thanks for the quick reply Steve. Neither the prospective buyer nor I have EVER seen another like it. It's in pretty darned good condition for being ~70 something years old.

Steve, do agree with the price range . Maybe more if the right auction ? To a friend or member the 100 to 150 would be fair at todays prices .
Think there are only 2 others here in the whole forum , so they’re very hard to find with a good Etch .
Jerry ,that’s cool of you to move a 72. You put a lot of time and research ,etc into your 72 s .

Doubt if this is any help but I have these 2 Boy Scout Whittlers. They are not from the short line era and when I bought them I know I only paid around $40 each on them.

I sold a mint in the original box with instructions , about 10 years ago for 100.00
Count for inflation .
I believe this is the original ad for the knife , just post war around 1947 , all though the etch is different the picture is an artist rendering and the actual knives were produced like the OP knife .
