Are budget Spyderco knives any good?

Here are my thoughts
I've practically tortured my Byrd Cara Cara Rescue 2 and it's still going strong. Serrations are staying sharp.
I think I paid $20-ish new 5-6 years ago. They've now gone up closer to $30, but are still pretty good value for the money. I'm eventually going with an Emerson version with a pointed blade.
