Good morning, all. I trust that this email will find you well. I a looking for help in estblising the age and value of this pocket knife and would appreciate your help. It has a couple of patent numbers on it and it is about 2" long. Thank you.

Maria,
I am going to offer little help with your questions based on the photos but I welcome you to AAPK. ::welcome::
We will need good and close up photos of the tang stamp and this is a small knife so that may be a difficult chore.
I will venture to add that in general, prices on this type knife are minimal. To me, it is a miniature and you can likely find a similar example by searching eBay Advance search option with a check in the Closed Listing option.

I can't tell from your pictures if it's shell handle construction or solid bolsters.
If it's shell construction they typically sell for about $10, if solid then slightly more.

I tried to improve one of the pictures but I don't think it was much help.

Those are definitely shell handles and Edge is right, ten dollars for a high estimate, I see them at fleas for five bucks.

I agree and down in this neck of the woods mostly around $8 unless you have one that is in excellent or near mint condition.

I know, what's that old saying about a "fool and his money." Well it's happen to me before but I try hard to keep it at a minimum. :D
