Hello all. I am in need of a new spring for a queen Mountain man. I have broke one, and need a replacement. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike I assume it is a slipjoint version? I make springs out of tool steel, perhaps you could try the same, it works great. good luck

caveman, I seen a post on here not long ago and a member said they had a 5 gallon bucket full of springs. I'm thinking it was mumblypeg(???) but not 100% sure if that's right. Maybe someone will be along that will remember who posted that.

Hi Guys, here I am
Asleep at the switch (as usual)....
Caveman, all these springs are probably older, but could possibly be ground to shape ? If you can send me a sketch of the spring, I'll be happy to dig thru my bucket. It'll be next week, tho' - I'm headed for Germantown, TN tomorrow morning (durn Dr's app't).
PM me with a sketch, if you can - I'll be happy to at least try to help out.
Take care,
JR

Hey guys sorry for the delay in getting back here. Life has been fast at the fire house. I was able to get a spring to replace my goof up, so I am in good shape here. I do appreciate all of the help however. Please holler if I can help anyone out with anything.
