Sheffield Barber Knife

Here are some pics of my Barber jack knife (is there a better term 
) The side view is the opposite side from the previous photo (cross ref Three knice knives). There is a pattern to the top of the blade and the spring. I don't know at what point this was done, but I think it is interesting.
