Anyone have any info on this brand, Ausonius or A-usonius? Seller said it’s italian but I can’t find any info on this make. What I can say is that it is a big, beefy, well made Swiss style knife that is extremely well made, has beautiful scales which I believe are steer horn, and it has a very unique triangular awl. Absolutely love this knife and would love to have some more info before I feature it in a video. ::shrug::

All I could find was, per GOINS,
"AUSONIA - g 1900-1920 - A line extends
from the "A" under the name."

Which your tang stamp appears to have.

Anyone.....
Its a very common Latin suffix so it is present in many languages today. I was thinking it could be German or even Austrian but the seller seems to think it’s Italian.

Thanks for looking. That’s all I could find. The stamp is so small I needed a magnifying lens to even read it and see the hyphen or underscore between the A and U. It’s a really nice knife so I would love to find another.
