All About Pocket Knives

I picked up a knife off of ebay; a red stag Browning. I noticed while cleaning it; that the stag on one side does not follow the shape of the top bolster exactly. It's not that noticeable just looking at it, but with a glass is very apparent.

Other than that it seems to be a decent made knife. Is this a pretty good sign that it has been re-handled? I got it for $46, so it's really no big deal; just wondering. I assume that a re-handle knife; has less value, no matter how well it has been done? SMKW had a older Case XX; several years ago that had been re-handled, but they stated that it was re-handled.

alot of factory mass produced knives have a flaw to some extent in the handle fitting, some don't get let out of the factory, others by accident, and some by seconds. Or it could be rehandled, who knows. If you look at something long enough, you'll eventually find a flaw.
