French multi?

Had this for a while, all stainless, inoxible on tang, don't look that old, got BASSEREAU stamped on main blade, sounds french? Thanks for looking

I'd say French is a good bet. Even without the name, that style of can/bottle opener is common to French multi-tool knives. Probably 1950s at the oldest but likely more recent than that. s-k

I would concur that it is indeed of French origin.Here are several examples of similar knives;the most common similarity being the coffin shape and the aforementioned can opener blade.
The nicest one is the Eloi Pernet multiblade(#3).The quality of this knife is unbelieveable! I have a couple of other pieces by this company(a letter opener/scissors combination and a pair of stag handled poultry shears)and virtually every surface is mirror polished including the inside.
