Western States Cutlery half congress

I haven’t seen this tang stamp before. It is on the secondary blade, nothing visible on the primary. It says Western States Cutlery Made in USA. I would like some information on the knife, especially the dates that tang stamp was in use.

Post-WW2 to 1952.

Western didn't include the line "MADE IN U.S.A." until 1946 or 1947, depending on when a run of a particular model was made.

Western changed names from WESTERN STATES CUTLERY to WESTERN CUTLERY in 1953.
