Prayers for Sister

One of my 5 sisters, Laura, told me yesterday that she discovered two breast lumps and the doctor is seeing her this morning for evaluation. She had breast cancer about 10 years ago. As I understand it, the reason cancers often return months or years after treatment is because chemo does not destroy the cancer stem cells so over time new tumors can be generated. Often these new tumors are more aggressive than the original ones.
Consequently, I ask your prayers for Laura that the lumps may prove benign or, failing that, that her treatments will be successful. And may the Lord grant her peace as she contends with this trial.

Holy Father I lift up Laura in prayer asking for Your care. Father I pray that it is Your perfect will that she will continue in good health with no signs of cancer. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Praying the Lord will bless Laura to get a good evaluation this morning, benign lumps would be great. As you posted, failing this, comfort and peace as she seeks treatment.

Holy Father..... we lift up Laura to you and ask that she could find out that these lumps are not serious.
Please give her comfort during this time and please surround her with your holy angels.

I apologize for the confusion which I am no doubt responsible for. I posted the benign results of Laura's tests in the Upper Room under the title ANSWERED PRAYERS. There are more details there. Again, both Laura and I are very grateful for your prayers.
