I picked this up last weekend because of the etch and the handles do not have cracks . I know enough to be dangerous …. Can someone help me with potential age ?? Who could have made this for Bingham ?

According to my copy of Goins, The Cleveland Bingham (there are 6 different Binghams listed) was in operation from 1841 to 1948, but it doesn't indicate who made knives for them or if they made their own. The blade etch on yours "Bingham's Best Brand" was one of their trademarks. Nice knife!

Price and Levine date Bingham 1841-c.1930. Levine says knives were made by ULSTER. That's all I found. That's a nice pearlie.
