Frankenshruck? 311 repair

I've had this old Buck 311 Trapper for a while. The main was worn, but the spey blade was worn out.
I had thought that I would remove the spey and make it a one blade knife, then on a whim I compared some NOS Schrade spey blades that I had - and it was a pretty good fit! The nail nick is on the front (Buck secondary nail nick was on the back), but the overlap works out right to make it available.
The Schrade oval shield is not a perfect fit either, but good enough for this to go into my EDC rotation!
This was a fun one that didn't take over a half hour or so to do - I only removed the pivot pin, did a temporary fit of the blade, a couple of strokes with a file, then peened it in place!
Then, of course, I let the edge of my sanding belt get into the handle and made a good groove in it. But, it has all U.S. made parts, and is still worth carrying!
