Knife Identification Help

I am hoping there is someone who can help me identify this knife. I recently came across it in a batch of other knives I purchased. I identified all of the other knives, but try as I might I can't seem to identify where this knife was made or its age. There is a symbol on the blade, faded a bit with what looks like patina.
Any if would be appreciated, I just discovered this forum and wish I found it sooner.
Thanks.

Welcome to AAPK. Sorry I can’t identify the maker of your knife. My initial impression is, it looks Asian, but the mark looks like maybe Arabic.

You can possibly enhance the mark to make it more legible by using the graphite (lead) end of a pencil. Simply rub the mark with the pencil lead and then wipe off any excess with a soft cloth/rag. The graphite is abrasive enough to remove iron oxide/tarnish, but will not damage the steel.
