I’m the current caretaker for the old broad ax and adz handed down through my family. Both are marked but I’ve been unable to decipher much.

I have been up to Idaho and Montana. I have friends up there and after spending time with them, I can see how good well taken care of tools could make the difference from surviving from one season to another. Think of all the stories that must go along with them, some told and most untold.Open Range-19 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 4:31 am GPSTOPDOG,
Thanks, tools were valued and carefully taken care of on the frontier.
