???????CASE BROS CUT CO, CASE BRADFORD TRANSITION??????

has anybody seen one before??? i bought a old 62056 like in sargents 6th edition on page 57. the main is stamped case bradford with the pen case bros. cut co, it makes sense,,,the old case bros cut co stamp ended in 1913, bradford started in 1914

Jarrod, I'm certainly no expert but from what little I can understand about the "CASE brothers" from reading about them I would expect to find just about anything on one of their knives. There were so many of the same family "in" the knife business I'm sure parts were used, sold, and traded. Most definitely I'd say anything left over from one stamping to the next was eventually used. Don't guess this helps but I'd say anything is possible especially with those early knives.

i agree 100%, ive never had or seen that perticular transition knife. just wondering if anybody else had.
