Case Tested Question

Guys,
I always struggle with pattern numbers on Tested knives. I have a somewhat ragged Tested jack knife that I have decided is 6214. It is 3 3/8th inches long and has rough black handles. Photos below.
Is this a correct pattern number or could it be a 6235?

Ray; appears to be a 35 to me. The 14 is a slimmer frame. Too bad someone mangled the spear blade.

Just for comparison: 14 on top; 35 1/2 on bottom.

According to Levine and Houston Price, 3-3/8' is a "6214" and a "6235" pattern is 3-1/4". J.O'.

Yep,, and so does Steve Pfeiffer.
Truth be told, what started me to question myself is that I have a Case 6235½ USA era that also measures 3 3/8th inches when it should be 3¼ inches. I just hate it when all my square pegs don't fit into the square holes.
