What to do with this OMOR lockback?

I received this OMOR lockback as part of an eBay lot. I've not been able to find much information on OMOR, but this one has led a rough life. Besides the obvious wear, it has shaky lock-up and likely the worst case of side-to-side wobble I've yet seen. Those issues were so bad I wouldn't perform my standard sharpness tests. Based on sold eBay listings, OMORs have modest worth even when in good condition. I'm not seeing a lot of value in this one, so I suspect it's best written off. Opinions are most welcome.

I’d say you’ve done due diligence already. Nothing to add here.

Dan! What you have is an inexpensive Japanese built tourist knife that use to have a swinguard, which is witnessed by the hole in the tang where the rivet went! OMOR is simply ROMO spelled backwards, and I own a couple of knives with that stamp so it's not unheard of. More of a novelty knife than anything else! 8)

Ken and Marc, thanks for the feedback. Looks like this one is gonna be used to (hopefully) help me improve my sharpening skills.

That's exactly what I keep junkers like this for, Dan. I don't risk messing up a good knife when learning to sharpen them, and if I get a good edge on the knife, it's good to use as a work knife.

And, we do a POS Exchange every year around March, and that's how I usually pass on the knives I get in lots that I don't want.

The POS exchange is another possible fate. But it'll definitely be a sharpening test mule. (I pretty badly messed up a Victorinox Rally while trying to improve my sharpening skills; at least I cann send that one in for service.)

I agree with Cody. That is exactly what I was going to post.
