All About Pocket Knives

Found this one at an estate sale in a box of broken knives. Looks like a Tuxedo pattern, Blade tangs are marked "Case Bros." in a half circle with "Cut" inside the half circle in a flat line. Blade is marked "Tested XX". Anyone know what year this is from and does it have any collector interest in this condition. Thanks in advance for your help.

If it were mine I would replace the broken blade. I think it would definitely be worth the investment. But, others may have different opinions.

Your Knife dates 1900-1912. Very early Stamp.

Dates as Tom stated. Has little collector value in its current condition, but could have limited value as “donor” knife for parts. Or if you can find a donor knife having an authentic secondary blade it could be repaired, which if done properly could salvage its collector value. The Case Bros. knives I have seen are marked on both blades so not just any secondary blade will result in a “good” collectable knife.

In other words you’d need two authentic knives and a competent “mechanic” to get one good collectable knife out of the pair. JMO
