Hi all. This may have been covered before and if so, I appologize. What is the best mild cleaner for brass bolsters? Not to take off patina, but to get rid of finger prints and such? Flitz? I have several 1960-70's large lockbacks with brass bolsters that are in great shape except the brass could look a little better. Thanks to any and all, Smoke

Flitz will remove the patina from bolsters or blades. Good if you want them bright and shiny. To remove a little grease or finger print, try a cotton swap dipped in window cleaner (windex). Wipe off right away with a soft cloth. Just my opinion :) s-k

Hey thanks guys, I will try the window cleaner first s-k. If I'm still not happy, I'll try either/or Flitz and simichrome. I appreciate all your replys, Kelley
