All About Pocket Knives

This multi-tool pocket knife arrived very recently in a large group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it turned out to be a keeper. It is a CZECHOSLOVAKIA, single blade, four tools (a pick, a button hook, a file and a spoon), a single stamp (on the spoon), 2 1/4" closed (including the tool ends), all metal (except for the scales & the pick), pocket knife. I believe that the notch in the blade is for opening cigar boxes or maybe not. The tang stamp says "CZECHO - SLOVAKIA" Overall, it is in EXCELLENT condition. It needed no cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I think the little spoon is used to remove ear wax. BTW, can you show us a picture of the knife you purchased the group to obtain?

The little spoon is definitely an earwax removal tool, but I suppose it could be used for snuff (small for that) or some coke. Knife is Post WW1, no Czechoslovakia before that and there is no Czechoslovakia now.

This morning, my trip to the post office produced this "Deer Foot" pocket knife. This is my first pocket knife, in this "Deer Foot" pattern or style, to be posted under this topic or thread. Actually, it is my FIRST and ONLY (so far) "Deer Foot" pocket knife. It is a JOSEPH HOLLINGER, one blade, one tool (a corkscrew), two tang stamps, 4 5/8" closed, a lanyard hole, "Deer Foot" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "JOSEPH (over) HOLLINGER" The main blade back tang stamp says, "CECHO (over) SLOWAKIA" The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The corkscrew opens and closes with NO problems. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. I just cleaned up the blade a little bit.

This is my first pocket knife, in this pattern or style, to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did get added to my general, "foreign born", pocket knife accumulation. It is an ESP, one blade, two tools (scissors and a file), 2 1/4" closed (not including the loop or ring), two tang stamps, multi-tool, advertising, lobster or gentlemen’s, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "STAINLESS (over) ROSTFREI" The main blade back tang stamp says, “ESP” (see the NOTE below) The main handle side says, “Roche”, inside an “elongated hexagon.” The main blade does have a SOFT half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Both tools open, close, and function properly, without any problems. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

This is the information that I found just doing a simple, basic, Google search.
ESP stands for Euro Security Products. ESP is a Czech company, founded in 1992.
ESP focuses on equipment for police and security services.
The knives are designed for both professional rescue workers and everyday personal safety.
Is it the same ESP as the ESP on THIS pocket knife? I do NOT know…..
It may not be Czech in origin, but I do NOT believe it to be Chinese or Japanese in origin.

It is a MIKOV, two blades, five tools (a cap lifter or bottle opener with a screwdriver tip, a can opener, a punch or awl, and a corkscrew), two tang stamps, 3 5/8" closed, all metal, multi-tool, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "MIKOV (inside a rectangle) (over) ANTICORRO" The main blade back tang stamp says, "CZECHO (over) SLOVAKIA" The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have a NASTY opening snap. The main blade does have a NASTY closing snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK half stop. The secondary blade does have a WEAK opening snap. The secondary blade does have a WEAK closing snap. The tools ALL open and close, with NO issues. This pocket knife came with a vinyl slip cover marked MIKOV. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning.
