Unknown Tang Stamp

Does anyone recognize this tang stamp? There is no other markings on the knife.

It's an Ontario. Queen versions also exist (Ontario owned Queen at the time). Whether the Ontario versions were produced by Queen or the Queen versions produced by Ontario, I don't know. A "Demo" pattern was also produced along with this TL-29--I'm thinking for a military contract; and also seen with both Queen and Ontario stamps. Ontario continued to produce that with Ontario stamps through 2013.
I had an Ontario-marked hawkbill, that, aside from Delrin handles, is identical to a #1L; but traded it.

Thanks Cody, I would have never guessed Ontario. I just looked them up and I never realized they produce the Old Hickory line of knives that has been around for years. They have a 2021-2022 and 2022 -2023 catalogs and it looks like they produce a wide variety of knives and modern folding knives. There does not seem to be a lot of historical examples of their folders so I would guess mine dates to the 60's or 70's

I have two. It's Ontario, Mine are also impressed, "Old Hickory" on the scales. J.O'.

Here's the Ontario 603 "Old Hickory". (Company started in 1889, made table cutlery, Queen produced OLD HICKORY pocketknives c.1971)
Sort of "medium" quality, Delrin scales, thin blade.

Olsen used the OK as a trade mark, but never alone as a tang stamp. Always had the word Olsen as well.

Probably a technicality but IIRC Queen and Ontario at one time were both subsidiaries of Servotronics. Sister companies under the same corporation, but one did not "own" the other. Ken Daniels bought Queen from Servotronics.

Mpeg, I agree. I get the impression Queen was just making the knives and didn't own Ontario. Around 1971. Don't know how long the arrangement lasted.
