All About Pocket Knives

I think it’s a 6345 equal end spear blade but the secondary blade looks to be broken an i curious what it’s supposed to look like. I don’t think it’s a sheep hoof

I'd guess that it is a Case pattern 45 Cattle Knife. Possibly the blade adjacent the main spear has been reshaped. Might have started life as a spear or a sheepfoot, possibly.
Mighty nice looking old Case with beautiful green bone handles.

My first thought was it used to be a spey blade.

Possible spay or sheepfoot - it was made both ways, sheepfoot/pen and spay/pen.

Yeah it’s ashame other than that it’s really nice! But that kills it!

What's the length? Might be a 6394 if it's 4-1/4"? J.O'.

Yeah, but it is and in my opinion it doesn't "kill it". The monetary value may not be there but
that's got to be a good packer.

I know what you mean. You can reshape it yourself / have someone else
reshape it / have a knife mechanic replace it for you if it has sentimental value.

Absolutely! It’s a nice looking knife. Somebody decided it needed that modification, it just adds to the story.
