How I Chose My Latest EDC

There's so many knife brands out there it's mind-boggling! If you want an EDC, how do you choose? Go to BladeHQ, Knife Center or SMKW and just look at all the brands arranged in neat alphabetical order. It's overwhelming.
I was amazed how well my latest decision-making process went. I think I'll continue using it in the future. I fell asleep watching YouTube. Something about fruit bats. A couple of hours later I woke up to the review of the Sitivien ST103. Never heard of the brand. Never heard of the style. Nada!!!
I liked what I was watching. I could not find the brand at any of the major on-line knife retailers. I went to Amazon, plunked my money down, viola! I've been carrying it for about a week. Absolutely love it.
I am so glad that I used such

a logical, very methodical way of determining my next EDC.

I guess we all dream about different things Cayuga, as I seldom wake up thinking about knives. To each his own!

Cool story Cayuga, and I am also guilty of falling asleep while watching videos. I picked up the Black handle Sitivien ST103 a little over a year a go. I like the blade thickness and it being D2 steel it has been a good worker. I've cut rope, wire, cardboard, and spark plug wires and has held up great so far. I believe you will like yours.

Great story Cayuga. I purchase about 5 or 6 knives per year. It seems
my tendency is to carry my most recently purchased knife as a EDC
for a few weeks, then I rotate by no specific plan.

You're a bad influence. I just sent a text to my daughter, asking her to order one for me. (she has Prime and my credit card #)

Great news! I'm so glad that someone is satisfied with it. I like it a lot and have been using it for pretty much what you've been using it for.
