Gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to present to you my first Benchmade. (this is a knife of distinction) 8)
As you can see, the packaging is impressive. (satin pouch with spring-catch drawstring), the knife itself is a well conceived, well put together little mechanism,(e.g. the axis lock spring), and last but by no means least, the donation to help fight cancer is substantial. ::tu:: ::tu::
Now if I can only locate a lanyard cord worthy of such a beauty. ::nod::

Easiest and safest lock to operate. I wish all knives had them.
I'm not sure how they compare with the back lock for strength though.
Not that I'll ever need to find out.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. It takes almost as much self-confidence to compliment a pink knife on a knife forum as it does to own one. ::tu::

Mitch, I still have the big Rukus at the back of my mind. I'll give it a few weeks and see if the itch goes away. I've been searching for a bigger folder, but haven't found anything yet. It's also Made in the USA, which is high up on my priority list of requirements. Any other country of origen for a tactical folder immediately causes me to lose interest.

Hey Edgewise,

Check with Wilson Tactical

http://www.wilsontactical.com/

..... they have a numerous amount of para-cords that might add the right flair to your new knife.

I have the axis lock on a H&K model Benchmade and like the design.
