This pocket knife arrived very recently in a large group/lot of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT purchase the group/lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it turned out to be a keeper. It is a BREVETT, single blade, single tang stamp, 2 3/8" closed (not including the ring/loop), pattern #34749, AUTOMATIC pocket knife. The blade is spring assist opened and closed. It operates perfectly. Pull the ring and the blade is open in a blink of the eye. The main blade tang stamp reads "BREVETT - 34749." One handle side says "RICORDO DI VENEZIA" (memories of Venice) and has an image of a gondola and gondolier. The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. The country of origin is NOT present, but a little research shows that it is from Italy. It is in VERY GOOD condition. It required very minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I would presume it's most likely French. "BREVETE" is French for "Pattented

Same thing. Brevett means patented. Ricordo de Venizia means "remember Venice", or "souvenir of Venice".

Any time Skip! You keep showing us knives from lots that weren't the knives you bought the lots for, how about showing some of the ones you bought the lots to get? Or maybe I missed those?
