Frost Cutlery - Japan.

This pocket knife arrived very recently in a large group of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT buy the group to obtain this particular pocket knife. Actually, I had no idea that this pocket knife was in the group. It is a FROST CUTLERY, two blades, two tang stamps, main blade etch, 3 5/8" closed, canoe pattern pocket knife. The main blade tang stamps read "FROST CUTLERY" with the logo on one blade side and "JAPAN - SURGICAL - STEEL" on the other side. The blade etch shows two Native Americans in a canoe and it also says "CANOE." It is in EXCELLENT condition and it did NOT need any cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

***** If you have any FROST CUTLERY, made in JAPAN, feel free to post it or them. *****

Looking for Parker’s when I came across this Frost lockback. Other than some difficulty unlocking it, it is in excellent shape.

Update: The lock has loosened up so it has become a pleasure to carry. It is very solid and the clip point blade is as good as they come. Like most new patterns to me, I’ve already ordered another. This one in black horn. Two more photos, one of the current and a seller’s photo of the one I’m waiting for. It doesn’t look like horn, but we shall see.

Thanks. I’ve come to appreciate them as I wind down my younger spendthrift days. The buffalo horn arrived and is excellent but it belongs in another thread as it is made in China more recently.

Been on a bit of a binge for the Parker and Frost knives lately. Found this Frost lockback on eBay for a song. Even though I’m a Yankees fan and obviously Babe Ruth I was able to rub off the printing making what I think is a vast improvement.

Long before I was on the internet, I can remember back in the day (probably the late 80's) ... the SMKW catalog had literally PAGES of Frost Cutlery knives - they were very popular then & pretty decent as I recall after buying a few.
