All About Pocket Knives

One of our Canadian brothers, Kootanay Joe, is in need of our sustained prayers as he faces a great challenge. He will come along eventually and post his request here but I have his permission to share with you that he has pancreatic cancer. He has respect for the power of prayer and Divine grace.

So please add Joe to your prayers of intercession for our many loved ones in need of healing. If any of you ever pray with a young child, perhaps a grandchild or young niece or nephew, please ask them to pray for Joe's healing. I have learned from experience how the prayers of little children, all simplicity and innocence, hold great influence with Our Lord.

Oh no, pancreatic cancer took my sister 6 years ago. Prayers are out to Joe.

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I know prayers help those in real need and have been shown to prolong survival.
I will make a proper post soon and outline my early symptoms as this might help someone else. I have surgery booked on March 4th, a Whipple's procedure. It is a long and complex operation and recovery in hospital can take a few weeks.
I was just in hospital for a few days but could not access AAPK because hospital administration had it blocked with "weapons" as the reason. How uneducated so many are about knives.

Father, reassure Roland of your love and care for him individually. You created us as unique individuals and You love us as individuals, each made in your image.
I believe you also gave us each a unique purpose and mission in this life that is for our own best interest.

Lord I ask now that Roland would know your peace and not evil, and that he have hope in Jesus and know that you are the great Physician and creator and have authority over every illness, injury, and cancer. I ask Father that you lay Your hand on our friend Roland and remove that cancer that your Name might be glorified and Roland' healed!
