For years I was told by family how dangerous the “switch” was, I finally took the plunge on my first. It has no maker marks, but has a nice Damascus blade, is razor sharp, very tight, bone handles. Overall, I am very pleased. I just thought I would share it with you...

Congratulations, rarely do you see a sharp stiletto and a good looking one at that!

And we're glad that you did share this knife with us Whitney! ::handshake:: You chose a fine example to transition over to automatics as well! Bone covers, sharp, Damascus blade, operates well, what more could you ask for! Without any markings it's kindda tough to determine much about it's origins, but it is a swivel bolster release so it's from 1962 or later. Just be forewarned, automatic knives are EXTREMELY addictive so don't be too surprised to find yourself buying more, and more, and..., well, you get it! Congratulations on joining the ranks of the automatic crowd, we're happy to have you and you're gonna enjoy yourself here! 8)
