Help needed on a Buck 102 from 1971

I need a little help from some of my Buck buddies please. My brother has asked me to sell a Buck 102 for him. This one has the inverted three line stamp with "Buck" over "102" over "U.S.A.". If my research is correct, that stamp indicates it was made in 1971 (please correct me if I'm wrong). The knife comes with the original black leather flap over sheath. Knife and sheath are in near mint, unused condition. I suspect this knife is worth more than a new one sitting on a store shelf, but since I'm not a serious Buck collector, I sure could use some help verifying the manufactured date and the current value. I checked ebay completed sales but didn't find anything that was an exact match. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Phil this would be a three line knife 1972-1986. Search Buck 102 three line.

Wayne, I realize it is a three line stamp but in addition to being a three line knife the tang stamp is inverted. See picture below.

There is one that sold on eBay recently. Check inverted with the search, sold items.

The inverted 3-line is specific to 1972. Although they aren't found every day, I don't think of them as rare; however, for a 102 collector that knife is an important one.

Yep, 1971-72 - easiest year to collect, three line, tip down tang stamp. It's a fine knife Phil, good era. OH

Ps. go to the AAPK stores and look at past sales. I'd guess $125.00 to $150.00 for NIB with the papers. About $100.00 for the knife and sheath in NOS shape without the box/papers. That is my SWAG at it, others may price it differently. OH
