Santa came early but I have some questions........

Santa dropped of this Craftsman 3 1/4 in jack 95021 yesterday, I did
some research with Mr, Google but did not get definitive answers to
these questions:

Who made it? ( I think it was Schrade)

When was it made? ( I think in the 70-80's)

Is it carbon steel or stainless ( I think carbon) ((when I got it the knife had some slight pitting on the blades, it is
magnetized, and has a mute shiny surface))

I thought the Craftsman, Schrade, or Sears Catalog collector experts could help me.
Hope Santa is good to everyone!!!

I too believe it was Schrade. Similar to the "Middleman" OT jack.'

Sears started offering those ACA Edge knives in maybe 1976 - not sure when they were dropped.

Most likely carbon steel as in those days a stainless one would have been marked stainless.

I had thought that the "A.C.A. EDGE" etch was used on Camillus made knives ?

I agree, pretty sure those were made by Camillus, probably 1970's or early 80s

I did some more research on the" A.C.A. Edge" term and found it was patented by Sears in 1973.

Sorry Bob, my mistake. The link showed up as a little 'bar' at the bottom of my computer screen. I did not see it until later and when i clicked on it, it brought up the U.S. Patent link.
Usually when i click on a link it opens up a new page. I am not very swift with computering.
