The stamps on the bolster, and blade dont look right to me.
and the covers look unfinished.
i would say fake.

When I look at the picture and the CASE tang chart the C on the blade looks out of position for any that was used by CASE.
I'm not an expert, but I bet there will be one come along.

"FAKE" a Tennessee stud.....tang stamp and blade stamped in Japan.
