I finally got around to putting some new handles on this one that I bought last month. I really like the color of this bone with the American Standard jigging pattern.

: Schrade 858 Pile Side (Folded) Pay no attention to that bit of polishing compound on the handle pin (my tired eyes missed it during cleanup!)

Very nice, Jeff!
They look like a regular stockman until you get one up close and personal, a real handful. I’ve got a couple of those and have yet to carry one.

They are definitely a handful!
A bit big for an every day carry but nice just the same!

Jeff, you do some of the most beautiful knife work. I love seeing your restorations (or should I call them "improvements"? Most of these never looked half as good when they left the factory!)

I looked and I don't have any 858's. I have several other Old Timer blades but that is one I am lacking....Sorry Dale.
