All About Pocket Knives

Here's a neat old cattle knife marked "Jack Knife Ben" Chicago. 3 5/8" closed.
A little worse for wear but it's kind of old and kind of snappy.

Nice survivor!


I've got a Cattleman's knife, Joe, but there's a feller around here who has a lot more. I think mine started life as a Robeson.

Nice one Joe, now show us more of the loot you got today. Got that Gardiner all oiled and snappy? I don't know where I was, you and Ben got some great old knives. I didn't even see them on the tables, I was too focused on the fixed blades as usual.

There are two different Jack Knife Ben “cattle/ stock “ styles shown here. The shields and punch blades tell different manufactures and dates from Napanoch, Schrade, Robeson, and 1890 to 1940. It has been fun trying to figure them out.
