whats the conscensious on puma slipjoints?

i just orderd a bantam 2 blade from sportsmans guide for $12.88 shipped to me. they offered me a free month of club membership and i used a $10 off coupon. for $13 i just couldn't pass on it, just wondering what quality they are.

Fair price for a decent knife. But it is not your daddy's Puma. It is my understanding that knives have not been made in the Puma Germany factory for years. All are outsourced, seem to be many made in Spain. I've noted the sportsman's guide knives over the past few months, pricing is pretty cheap.
Check ebay for the prices on the older ones. It will amaze you what some of them go for.
