Recently acquired Henckels “Fisher” knife. 6” blade and 10-1/2” overall. Have not been able to find any info at all on this knife not even another picture of one. I’m guessing it’s from the early’70s . Very nicely made intergal construction ( blade, guard, tang all one piece of metal) handles look to be laminated wood. Sheath is very nice as well and looks to be mage from vinyl I guess to be waterproof.
Anybody ever seen another one or have any info? Maybe some has old catalogs with this listed.

Very nice! Reminds me a lot of some Puma models of the era.

Yes it does resemble some Puma’s . One thing I find interesting is there’s an old price sticker on the box for 36.00 which in the early’70’s was quite a bit. I’ve seen an old catalog with advertisements for Puma white hunters in 1971 they were 21.00, so this Henckels was a bit more.

Nice knife.
Makes me think of a divers knife, especially with the "Deep Sea Tested" etching.

Eye Brand Man, Should you ever decide to part with the Fisher knife, I'd greatly appreciate a heads up in a Private Message.

When I saw Fisher knife, I was thinking fillet knife. Definitely not a fillet knife, but built for heavy duty use. Interesting vinyl sheath too. First one I have seen.
