Benchmade Unique Folder

Hey Fine Folks,
Does anyone recognize this model of Benchmade? It's got a Damascus blade and a unique handle lock.

Haven't seen one in year's, didn't know Benchmade made those. Is it an older knife? Lot of stuff coming out of China they're faking.

Looks like a 3100 Benchmite and I agree with Samb. The pictures I'm finding in a search all have the Butterfly on the other side of the blade and I don't see any Damascus variants.

Had one that was broken. Sent to Benchmade, sent it back to me ( through a dealer) unrepaired, just saying " no repair parts available". Bought a clone for under $10 and the part was a drop in, perfect fit. What a shame. BTW, great knife. Mirror polished mine. Benchmade did do a few in damascus. Tom
