All About Pocket Knives

I have always collected Case knives but have started to take an interest in some of the Winchesters but don't know alot about the history and era that are more collectable then others. It seem that alot made in the 80's and early 90's are of very good quality. Any info would be very helpful, thanks, Mike.

Winchester began in the knife business around 1919 and closed out in 1942, according to Goins. Those knives are some of the best and most sought after of any of the antique knives.
In 1987, Blue Grass started authorized reproductions. I am not sure who actually made them, maybe Queen. Whoever made them, they were very good knives.
I am sure someone will visit this thread and give us more info on the current Winchesters.

brl states blue grass cutlery was authorized to use the brand in 1985. they contracted with queen mostly but utica and camillus made some as well.

I have noticed that a lot of the Blurgrass knives look alot like the Case Classics and also the quality is very good. Does Bluegrass sell direct to the public or only dealers? If so, how do you get a cataloge?
