Have this 4 line / Sword Brand Swing guard lock back . Have a question regarding what Camillus called this pattern/ model . Was it a Hunter or just lock back or? Since it’s been here have just called it a lock back . Have looked for catalog references and nothing found .Does anyone have a old Catalog cut out or model / pattern # that would be great . It’s 4 and 5/8 inches long closed ,steel liners and nickel silver bolster and swing guard .

Jp here's one I have . This is a 4 line Camillus so from the era of very little documentation. I assume they would call it a swing guard lock back that could certainly qualify as a hunter. Pattern #and other info from early Camillus knives is very rare.

That’s a fine piece you have there Greg .
Thanks for sharing and agree with the lack of good info for this period .

Jp here is a lock back made by Stainless Cutlery Co. That is similar in size to the swing guard. This company was Camillus entry into the new era of stainless steel. There is an exact pattern of this knife in a four line Camillus as well.

Greg that Stainless Steel Cut co. Is a beauty. Have never seen that one. Camillus entry into stainless didn’t go so well from what have heard and read. Have a few of them and they’re some very well built pieces some say top of the line.
Thanks David and John for the kind words.
