Northeast Storms

Post by XX Case XX » Wed Oct 27, 2021 3:32 pm

I'm hearing the Northeast sections of the US are getting hit with some big storms, and I know some of our members live in those areas. Many are without power at this time. Will be praying for your safety. ::pray::https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topst ... li=BBnb7Kz

I see some rain in that area on the weather radar but it looks to be mild. ::shrug:: Hopefully the worst of it is over.

I saw that the Lincoln Tunnel was flooded this morning on the news. That would be a bad spot to get stranded. ::paranoid::

We had gusty winds yesterday, but it was sunny like today. I'm more East than North. ::nod::

5" of rain here yesterday, 6" at my folks about 45 minutes away. Some wind but not too bad. Good amount of local flooding though.

Here in Boston lots of rain and very strong winds (60-70 mph) but tapering off now. Hundreds of thousands without power in MA but so far so good here.

Where are you in CA Mike? I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area and noticed they have also been inundated over the last couple of days.

We're supposedly getting dumped on tonight, 1"-2" which is heavy rain in this area. If the weather man is right . . .
