All About Pocket Knives

Hey Fine Folks,

Has anyone here seen this knife pattern before? Each blade has a CASE TESTED XX Tang stamp. It's got a large wood spacer in between each handle. Custom job or did Case actually make a knife like this?

I believe it's called a budding knife.
Somebody with more knowledge than me will help you out.

Wow! It is a rare pecan grafting knife. You used both blades to cut out the limb in square pattern and cut a matching patch in the tree you were grafting to. Factory knife.

Note that there are two pieces cut, one from the recipient tree and one from the donor tree, both needing to be the same size. Hence the spacer between the blades.
