i got this for chrismas, dont know nothing about daggers? the dagger is about 12 1/4 long, its bone or ivory, has brass hilt and cap. has the hammer and sickle crossed with a wreath around it, with a star on top stamped on the front of the end cap. it has n029394 on one side of tang and hm3 in a circle with 1946 underneath. the scabbart it hardwood with brass hardware. the top end has a very detailed anchor with rope wrapped and it, with a very detailed old type ship on the other side. this knife pushes it the scabbart and locks in place with a press button. it also has a leather belt with clips to wear it next to your chest. ANY HELP WITH WHO MADE IT OR WHATEVER WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Russian naval officers dagger. You would need to research the markings to know age and maker. There should be some sort of armory or govt proof marks on it somewhere.
