You can also click the pencil, then the Attachments option, click Add Files and delete the first attachment without getting rid of the whole post.

*Edit- I think you figured that out.

Looks to be custom made. Maybe a coffin hilt reenactment Bowie type knife based on the both the knife and sheath design.

Looks kinda like something from Chipaway cutlery based on the jimping

Looks to me like a custom made knife that was made to look like a 1800's coffin handled bowie. Also could have been called a boot knife, or gamblers knife. Looks pretty well made but not made by a well known maker. Most makers would have stamped their name on the blade. Terry

Sig! You aroused my curiosity so I did some searching. If you click-on this safe link, www.arizonacustomknives.com and enter 1026365 in the "Search" box, a very similar knife will come up that's built by R.J. Kessnick, and no, I've never heard of him either!

Marco, That was a nice bit of research. I would not have thought checking with ACK since there was no name on the blade.

Thanks Garry, I guess I have my moments! I get daily email notifications from ACK for when knives from builders I've requested to be notified about come in. I made a point of requesting "Strider" knives as one of them because the pages are ALWAYS full of Strider's, so it was a way to pretty much guarantee I'd get daily notifications so I could view everyday without needing to remember to check the site everyday, my memory's not what it use to be. There's usually about 6 pages of "Recently Listed" knives to view, and when doing so I remember quite a few I've seen. The OP knife is one of them I remembered.

I was wondering how you got to that solution. I get notifications on just a couple of makers.

It's a good way to have new knives to view each day. I look forward to the email arriving, usually around 3:30 P.M. Central Time Monday-Friday, nothing on weekends. I don't follow Strider knives AT ALL, but it was a good one to choose since there are always so many coming in, and then I get to see all kinds of great knives all the while ignoring the Strider's.
