All About Pocket Knives

I decided to go with something a little more subdued this time--this material (not sure what it is, but it's not an acrylic) is harder to work, and so this one took a lot of elbow grease (I'm using only hand tools to do this work). The knife came to me without handles, but everything else was OK (good snap, no wobble) so I just added the handles, sharpened the blades, and here it is! There was a ding in the sheepsfoot blade, so I had to take about a mm of of it to get that out; otherwise the blades were in pretty good shape.

I'm not sure what model this is; there is only the four-line maker stamp on the main blade.

Looks pretty correct to the celluloid of the era, but without all the problems.

I'm planning on rehandling two small knives later on, and I will be using Antique Pearl Kirinite. One is a Standard Knife Co. that was waterfall celluloid that went bad, the other is a Utica Camillus 14-alike that has some awful imitation stag handles, but I figure I'll do it in Antique Pearl Kirinite as it's period correct for a '50s knife.
