I think I bought a KBAR …

Saw this in an antique store …
I have searched for awhile and cannot find another example like it .
It’s only tang stamp
According to Goins ,
1923 to present doesn’t narrow it down much .
Blade is 3-1/2 “ overall 7
Anyone have any information on my first KBar ? Thanks

Goins is mistaken there. Your knife was made between 1952 when the mark changed from KA-BAR to Kabar and circa 1969 when Cole National who bought KA-BAR Inc in 1966 began putting the model numbers on their knives. Impossible to narrow an age down beyond that. Fine condition for sure.

Thanks Gunsil . This knife is in really nice condition. It looks to have been carried, but doesn’t appear to have been sharpened. I am glad it’s not too good to be true !
