Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings lists James Milward & Co. Germany but does not give any information about it. Generally this means he had seen the stamp but wasn’t able to find information about it. It could be an import brand for a U.S. company (like a hardware store). Also some German companies stamped knives with anglicized names for the export market. Maybe someone else knows more - here is all I could find on AAPK. search.php?keywords=Milward&terms=all&a ... mit=Search

I don’t think the knife has much value. In general small German-made pearls don’t sell well for some reason even though many are well made.
